Athena isn't so much a warrior goddess, she's the goddess of wisdom. Hades, the god of war, is the true WARRIOR god.

isn't ARES the god of war and not Hades?? Hades is the god of the dead
I have mixed feelings about Kanakaredes' Athena. I know that they're trying to make her look traditionally like the goddess, but I don't think Athena, a warrior goddess, would have worn eyeshadow or earrings. Or lip gloss.
