I really like the pictures. I dont know why they change things in the movie. I just saw the trailer and I think the pen was gold. It was not the same as the book but it looks really cool

the sword looks sweet but they have canged loads of stuff thats not in the book

the pen is suppose to be a celestial bronze pen that changes to a 3-foot sword and its suppose to be straight not curved.

i think they should go with the cap pen but thats just me and they should show a better picture of it than just what was showed

I don't want to sound like a nerd because i'm not 1, but really the sword is extremely inaccurate. It would probably look like a Greek Xiphos. That would also make sense when Luke teaches Percy the disarming maneuver in the first book. just go on Google and type in Xiphos Sword. Just saying.

Percy almost does impale his thumb, and jessica is right, the movie is totally inaccurate. Percy doesn't even get claimed, they already kno he's the son of posidon, and annabeth in da movie isn't blonde!!!!! the movies a total rip off, and i love the pics of riptide, totally awesome!! Nice job! and 2 john, Rick is makin another camp half-blood series with th characters, theyr just not the main characters.

i love the movie. I'm still not even tired of watching it over and over again. the thing that makes it cool too is riptide. i just love how its a pen at first but then when you uncap it, it turns into a wicked sword, i wish i had a pen like that, but then again, my mom might just take it and try to burn it… she thinks Percy is a bad influence to me. but I'm seriously dyeing for the next movie to come out.

i totally think all of that is so true. when i first heard of that movie, i was thinking of how lame it was going to turn out to be. but then when i saw the part at the museum when Mrs. Dodds turned into fury, man did that grab my attention.i sat in one place for the rest of the movie with my mouth shut and my eyes wide open. i really can't wait for the next movie to come out, well if there is a next one.

dude this is an alright movie, counting that I'm more of a shooting and wrestling type of person, this hits the top of cool action movies. i like it and surprisingly, I'm actually excited for the next one to come out.

i seriously agree with you Ambika. if i had a sword like riptide, my mom wouldn't just take it and try to burn it, she would maybe dull it up a little and then poke me with it telling me "Nareesa, what if someone came up to you with a dangerous thing like this and poked you with it? would you like that?" and she would pretty much keep on going on with it for the next couple days. i would still be syched if i had a sword like that. i can easily just cap it when she's around me. i love the Percy Jackson movie!! (I'm crazily waiting for the next one to come out.. still wanting that sword!)
