So, I went on www.foxinternational.com/percyjackson today and suddenly it hit me as I stared at the background. Percy Jackson is wet!!!! He has to will himself to get wet, but why would he be wanting to get wet when he’s making all the water? This is a crime and I think I’ll cry if he’s getting wet like this in the movie. Maybe I’m missing something. Maybe I’m overreacting.
Do you see that he’s getting wet? What do you think? Add a comment below or discuss it in the forum HERE.

Do you think the filmmakers forgot? Or decided to have it that way? I don’t know…it does contradict the book, though.

Yes he is wet. For a reason. Remember when Luke injured him and he was suffering from his leg then water healed him. Thats why he is wet, water heals him.
Yes, he's definitely a bit wet… Well, in the books, Percy's will determines whether he's getting wet or not in water. But, there's a part wherein he willed himself to get wet because there are many mortals or normal people near who will probably wonder why he's not getting wet in the water…
In the picture, Percy's a bit wet because he chose to get wet due to the fact that he's in New York, where there are many mortals…
Have I answered the question? Correct me if I'm wrong… Thank you…
