Percy Jackson Movies | Unofficial Lightning Thief Movie Site

About.com has released a cast interview from the LA premiere of 20th Century Fox’s ‘Avatar’.  The interview is of Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, and Alexandra Daddario.

What did I get from this interview? That all three are obsessed with the a** word, apparently thinking that it makes the movie sound cooler or something.

What do you think about this interview? Does this make you excited for the movie? Leave a comment below.

Here is the transcript from the interview:

Rebecca Murray from About.com Hollywood Movies at the LA Premiere of 20th Century Fox’s Avatar
Brandon T Jackson, Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario from Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
A lot of people are really excited about this Percy Jackson movie. Tell me all about it.
Logan Lerman: “It’s just the most bad-ass film ever made. No, no, no. That’s hyping it up.”
Alexandra Daddario: “It’s a really fun, awesome movie.”
Brandon T Jackson: “We’re really excited because we’re bringing in Greek mythology…”
Logan Lerman: “…to the modern day.”
Brandon T Jackson: “And vampires are cool, you know, but right now it’s about Greek mythology. The son of Poseidon, he’s a demigod that lives in New York City and he’s a teenage demigod. I’m his protector. I’m a satyr.”
Logan Lerman: “It’s a modern-day Hercules story. It’s a lot of fun, you know? I’ve got to battle Medusa, the Hydra, and all those things.”
So is there a lot of green screen?
Logan Lerman: “Yeah. I mean, you know we did pretty much all of our stunts – all of us together. But most of it was green screen though, but any time you see us doing anything, we’re really there. It’s not like they’re animating us in or anything like that. We’re really doing everything. It’s really crazy. So, we just worked our asses off. See the film.”
Did you do a lot of stunts?
Alexandra Daddario: “I did a lot of stunts. I get to play this really bad-ass chick and kick ass.”
Logan Lerman: “She’s so cool in it. She really is. So is Brandon. Brandon kicks ass in it too.”
Brandon T Jackson: “I try to kick some ass.”
Logan Lerman: “They do.”
Alexandra Daddario: “We’re all pretty bad-ass. I got into great shape during this movie.”
Brandon T Jackson: “The thing about this movie is that everybody can see it, too. Yes, parents, teenagers, kids…everybody can love it. It’s not like one of those movies…”
Logan Lerman: “We made it for everyone.”
Brandon T Jackson: “It’s not like one of those movies you sit back and go, ‘Oh my god, I have to sit through this movie for kids.’ No, it’s like, ‘I can enjoy this too.’ And you get to see Uma Thurman as Medusa which is awesome.”
Alexandra Daddario: “She’s amazing and terrifying.”
